On December 22, 2020, the Walnut Neighborhood Development Coalition partners hosted a tour of the Walnut St. Baptist Church for a group of over twenty individuals from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI).
During the tour, the participants learned more about the historic building and were able to experience the building’s unique architecture.
The group also learned about the adaptive reuse visioning and planning process the Coalition was launching, which involves a number of UNI programs.
